Job Description

- Champion financial reporting for Hospitality i.e. weekly revenue report, month end consolidation report, forecast accuracy, quarterly bond investment report, etc.
- Reviewing monthly performance, analyzing P&L, Balance Sheet performance and Cash flow Forecast, make recommendations and ensure implementation of set recommendations. 
- Working aross multiple properties, the person benchmarks performance to identify opportunities for improvement, whilst ensuring asset risks are mitigated. 
- Liaising with pre-opening properties to support with the creation of budgets (includes expenses, manning, ceremony costs), review spends, supports obtaining necessary licenses and insurance, and ensure closure of the pre-opening books. 
- Reviewing  internal controls at each property and where appropriate spot check the control checklist that is in place. 
- Working with Director of Revenue to champion communication with each hotel asset with regards to annual budget presentation.
- Ensuring approved and acceptable accounting practices are in place and followed. Ensure banking procedures are established and operated correctly. Liaise closely with Branch Accounting team.
- Coordinating with the BIM's Finance team to ensure proper application of VAS and compliance to local regulations requirements at property level.

Job Requirement

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA preferred.
2. Experience: 4-8 year experience in hotel accounting at Management level, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
3. Professional Skills: Financial Analysis, Internal Control, Bargaining, Operational Efficiency, Sun System, Opera System.
4. Soft Skills:
- People Management - has the ability to create an open and efficient team culture.
Influence - shows strong emotional intelligence dimension to influence both people and work culture necessary.
- Communication - effective in communicating a professional message across all levels of the business.
- Decision making - strong at making quick and intelligent decisions in driving asset's values.
- Commercial awareness - a savvy operator in knowing where to drive both top and bottom line performance.
- Planning - able to organize his/her work flow and is effective manager of time.
- Information Analyzing - capable to extract the right meaning from people, reports and information that supports the commercial agenda.
5. Other Qualities:
- A strong understanding of the way BIM Group conducts business and is an advocate of the company’s culture.
- Capable to liaise effectively and efficiently with multiple internal and external stakeholders. 
Able to research and execute strategic project work to a high standard.
